There
are over 300 mystery spheres in Costa Rica, ranging in size from a few
centimeters to over 15 tons. We toured Finca 6, an old banana plantation in the
Osa Peninsula, and learned a bit about the circular mystery. The basalt spheres may
represent stars in our solar system, or they could have been simply ornamental.
As a sci-fi author, I like to think aliens made them! Google them for the rest of the story, and follow my feet...

This is how the spheres were found, buried in the ground.
A medieval banana transport system.
After
touring Finca 6 and the museum, we had a picnic in the nearby town of Sierpe,
in a park full of flowering trees, hungry scarlet macaws, and leftover spheres!
Nowadays, it’s become a tradition to visit the park on our way to the Boruca Indian
Village with a picnic in tow.
The stones were not made by the grinch! We can rule that theory out.
