Costa Rica, 2021: Tres

Day 18

Day 19

Lankester Gardens

Day 20

Day 21

Day 22

Day 23

Hacienda Orosi Hot Springs

Day 24

Irazu Volcano! I experienced my first Earthquake this week. In Paraiso.

Day 25

I'm posting early this week. Day 25 is my cheat day, because it hasn't happened yet. We'll be traveling home and leaving beautiful Orosi, Costa Rica. I started with a mask photo and I'll end the trip sufficating behind a hot N95. But it was worth it. For those of you wondering why we're traveling at all, well, I hope these photos tell our truth. We've been painfully careful, just like at home: keeping our distance, wearing masks and eating take-out. The beaches are as wide as a football field, the moutain air is crisp and hopefully, virus free. The Costa Rican people are fierce with safety measures.

The above photo was taken during happier times, in Dominical, Costa Rica. Nuff said.

I'm glad you're being careful. I am too chicken to try to travel at my age and without the vaccine yet. Soon, I'm hoping. Love the orchid, it almost looks like a living breathing thing. :-)

Such a lovely trip. Costa Rica is gorgeous.
I'm hoping to travel in a few months - I just got my 2nd dose of the vaccine a few days ago. But my hubby hasn't yet. I'm so anxious to resume with a somewhwat normal life again, but until he's vaccinated, I don't feel I can.

I'm scouring the net for some travel deals and I'm surprised there are deals for Costa Rica with early 2021 departures. But I'm still not sure if I want to travel before late summer of this year.
