Costa Rica: Diez

I've arrived at number ten: seven photos, ten weeks, short and sweet. Week ten continues near the sands of Playa Flamingo. We decided long ago that the beaches of Dominical, Costa Rica, are our favorite. Still, there's beauty in the tropical dry forests of the more touristy end of Costa Rica. Follow my lens...

Painted Bunting.

The lofty sails of our booze cruise. The warm winds and even warmer liquor was a match made in pura vida heaven. I love this photo.

Stay tuned for more...

The blue colors in the last shot is stunning!
I always like a tiny creature (bird, squirrel)at the center of a Nature picture of some kind. A contrast between big nature and small nature.

Sharon - so glad to see you at Mosaic Monday! Love the squirrel and the mural of the jaguar - the dappled shade really adds to this picture. I hope you come back again!

Is that a Painted Bunting? (or a very similar name) - I have wanted to see one since I found the species in a kids book an American friend sent us! Rather jealous.

I don't know how you get the wildlife to pose for you so nicely. Wonderful photos as always!
