Can you guess what object lies beneath the withered vines? Well, I've actually taken photos here before. (when it has been exposed) And it's still a mystery! But it's pretty clear that the other photo is milkweeds.
I've taken a lot of photos of this green barrel over the years. But this perspective is a new one.
The light switch and Frigidaire photos are both from the same weathered building. I could actually fill a whole week of blog posts with all the photos I've taken at the farm. No cats this time for Cats On Tuesday fame. But I can direct you over to Joan at http://www.myretirementchronicles.blogspot.com/ for this month's Red photo contest. My photo is the one with the tulips!

I have been thinking lots of your drawings lately...
Send SOS or WWF some of your drawings, free to use - they will bring smiles for all us paing a price, be sure of that, dear friend :-D
Love your photographs! Especially love the green barrel and the rock stuck in the driftwood. Your Snow White illustration makes me smile too. I want to keep gorillas away too, so I guess I'll stock up on apples!
I agree your photos are so interesting. The colors and the grain...I really enjoyed these. I am wondering though, why there aren't any trees on the farm?
I like the milkweed photo, Sharon...it reminds me of a large insect. Enjoyed the old sign too, the Fridgidaire Corp. was close to my hometown and husband retired from General Motors several years ago!
It looks like real cowboy country!
We both did red tulips, Sharon! I love so many of the pictures that were submitted, but I think Judy is going to win this time. Love your milkweed picture...
A haunting tribute to a place that must have had much history...
Very interesting place...Beautiful photos...
So nice to see you Sharon and your photos are just gorgeous! I easpecially like that second one, that's very col!
I might be the only one who feels this way, but your composition and color palette is evocative of a New England beach. It's neato!
I love the objects that you take photos of- but especially the ones that look like from the wild ,, wild west!
Your photos are awsome!
