The precipice of Bryce Canyon, Utah, was surreal: hoodoos and outstanding views! It looked as if God poured acid from the clouds, creating a melted maze of fire. We blazed a trail....

WE=e were supposed to visit the Utah National Parks this year but I guess we will have to wait a little longer. It was nice to see it through your camera lens, Sharon.
That really is breathtaking! I love seeing animals and creatures in old roots and rocks! You took some amazing photos! It's been years since I visited that area....I want to go back!

This is stunning! Was this a day hike or did you stay overnight? It seems pretty strenuous from the high elevation you reached! I am sure it was well worth the sore muscles the next day. Those views are spectacular

I went there once back in the 90s on a solo camping trip between jobs. It was beautiful but being afraid of heights the trails weren't very good for me. - Margy

I was just at Bryce last fall and I don't remember seeing this trail on the map. So pretty!
One of the states I would love to visit when I get the chance. I was about to spend my 30th birthday in California but yeah, covid happened. Hope you are doing well and thank you for these spectacular photos of Utah!
such a wonderful place, we visited it in May 2019, and after 30°C in Moab, we were greeted with 0°C and snow in Bryce canyon.
I especially like the Martian surface. I totally misread the scale of it at first which makes me like it even more.
