"What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have never been discovered." Ralph Waldo Emerson
We visited the meandering, Denver Botanic Gardens last fall. It was lovely. Unfortunately, Spring is arriving like a hitchhiker: slow and scary, with long stretches of isolation. I thought viewers might enjoy some innocent, April flowers. Follow my feet...
P.S. Hop over to Chorus of Crows to discover Space for Improvement: an inspirational post about the power of purpose.

Denver Botanic Garden is among one of our favorite places! We love the wood-fired pizza they sell there too Stay healthy, Sharon!
You were right: looking at those pictures made me feel much, much better. I hope you are staying home and cuddled with your partner, as I am. :-)
Denver's garden is gorgeous - so many beautiful photo you took. I'd love to visit, but I'll just do it virtually with you
It's been years since I have visited them and I loved them. Time for a return trip when this worldwide nightmare ends.
Botanical gardens are so much fun. I love seeing plants I know and learning about new and unusual ones. - Margy
Beautiful photos... Made me smile..
Enjoyed following your feet around the gardens.
Sharon - what a delight to see these beautiful pictures. I am looking forward to my garden starting to bloom. As you point out, we are unlikely to get to go to public places any time soon! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, my friend!
Wonderful the Botanic Gardens!!!
Greetings Elke

Best regards!
I enjoyed the gorgeous captures, Sharon. Thank you!
Thanks for taking us along on your trip the the gardens. The colors are so pretty, especially the dahlias (they are a favorite of mine!).

Sharon, stop by my blog , I have a poem, I think you would like! :)
A beautiful garden and a nice diversion. I like that line "Spring is arriving like a hitchhiker." The first photo looks like a brightly painted Joshua Tree!
Lovely, lovely, beautiful :) Some day we'll be able to enjoy the sights in public again!
