What a gem! The Tucson Botanical Gardens are a must-see for anyone visiting Saguaro National Park. It's part zoo, part desert oasis and part whimsical sculpture garden. Follow our feet...
This dragonfly is quite pleasing to the eye.
Cute.
Fun.
These creatures are little spotted garden eels. They live most of their life embedded in sand like a kid on the beach.
The desert landscape is a living canvas surrounding the garden.
Road Runner.
A shy guy.
The cacti garden was a feast of fluff and thorns.
Even the heavens were framed like art.

Worth a Thousand Words
Sharon - almost four years ago, we visited Tucson when our son was considering the University of Arizona. We trekked to Saguaro National Park, but didn't make it to the Botanical Gardens. Based on your pictures, I am so sad. Glad I could experience it through you. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Dawn aka Spatulas On Parade
Looks like a wonderful place to visit. Some of the critters are the same ones I see here in the CA desert. Love the vulture shot!!
We went there several years ago when we rented a car. We've been coming to Arizona for years to enjoy the winter warmth and to visit ASU and UA for softball games. - Margy
So bright and colorful!
You certainly are a good photographer. I love coming here to see your photos.
