Duluth 2022: Part 1

Repeat.

We had so much fun last year we did it again: biking the Gitchi Gami and Willard Munger trails (How cool is the name Gitchi Gami?), eating fry bread tacos, Sammy's pizza, and OMC (Oink, Moo, Cluck), and soaking up the glistening Lake Superior view.

We favor the chalky pink rocks at Iona beach, primo Italian soup at Va Bene, Five-layer Chocolate pie at the Rustic Inn, luminous purple lupine twisting along the North Shore, and black basalt rock sprinkled about like God seasoned the soil with a giant pepper grinder.

I 💖 Duluth, Minnesota.

Iona Beach is in the pink.

Summer Lupine on my iphone. I snapped some really stunning photos with my old camera. (Not my new stolen one)

The devil is in the details.

Happy Independence Day!

I don't think I've ever seen a pink beach before. That looks like a beautiful area, and one I would like to visit!
