Flovember: Week 3

What's better than a cocktail on the beach? Drinking it in a Tervis glass - sunset optional, but highly recommended. I don't think these battered and bruised rental cups are real Tervis - although, they could be. I love how lightweight the airy, plastic glasses are and obviously, no slippery sweating. So, what else did I love this week? Photo safaris in southwest Florida, and dolphins swimming so close to me, they left a fishy taste in my mouth.
I was reading a book in the backwoods, on a meandering trail through the mangrove estuary, when I heard a poufy snort. I looked up - the water's edge just inches away - and out pop two dolphins, arcing and swimming away. Joy!
Another day, I was reading silently on another deserted trail, and out of the brush snakes a raccoon. The youngster stopped by my feet and stood on his hindlegs, starring at the weird human feet blocking his path. He left.

Follow my weird feet...

Speaking of feet, somebody lost their croc. Or, perhaps a one-legged ghost is walking on water. Personally, I prefer this theory.

Vacation stash.

I love the graphics on this tequila bottle. I can't imagine anything more fun when I'm dead than drinking tequila and riding a giant chicken.

Another beach mirror shot. Have you watched Black Mirror on Netflix? If not, you're missing out on a mind-blowing show.

See you next week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Love the pictures, that incredible sky, and the dead guy drinking tequila. :-)

I see you are in a sunny spot on the opposite side of the country. We left the morning of the atmospheric river that hit Washington and BC. So much devastation left behind, especially in southern BC. - Margy

I love your vacation stash! That is too hilarious. That was me coming home from Finland with their vodka (that you can't buy here).

Sharon - you always have spectacular photos, and the humor to go with it! A one-legged ghost! Being dead and riding on a chicken! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and Happy Thanksgiving!

The tequila sounds good, but not the chicken, eek, even my ghost self would weigh too much for that! Such fun beachy vacation shots and even better stories. Love the mental image of the raccoon encounter and I could almost actually hear that dolphin sound, which you described perfectly!
