Belize Snow

15)

Have you ever worn a baby Iguana like a cheap, ill-fitting suit? I'm guessing your answer is no. Well, I have.

The Iguana Conservation Project in San Ignacio is a fun place to wear Iguanas. Literally. But on this visit, we simply looked and learned. Oh, and fed them some bananas. The last visit, many moons ago, the Iguana handler loaded us up like a hot fudge sundae. Below are more of this week's favorite photos...

Belize Snow.
An absolutely fabulous drink at Cahel Pech Resort. (It's kind of a dump, but has one thing going for it) See above.

A color saturated mural in San Ignacio.

18)

A white crowned, Pionus parrot.

19)

An encounter with a wild howler at The Belize Raptor Center! (We saw birds too)

An Aracari at SweetSongs Resort.

Oh how we loved our visit to Belize, which was way way too long ago. Thanks for the memories and the new to me stuff too. I’m loving the warmth and bright colors that shine through every picture ... and I’m here in subtropical Florida. Can only imagine how the people you left “up North” are drooling over them )).

They are all fabulous, but I expect that of you. How in the world do you "wear" iguanas? I think you owe us a picture! :-)

The "dumps" serve the best cocktails and food sometimes! You live a charmed life. I miss Central America.

Love all the animals...my kids won a baby iguana at an event once and it was cute but one day it escaped and we never did find it...we looked everywhere...I don't know if the cat got him or he got outside🙁

I'm real sure I don't want to wear iguanas. Love the mural and the layers in the sunset.

Amazing to see the iguana up close like that.
The hot fudge sundae looks very drinkable.

Gorgeous sunset scene... I always enjoy seeing receding mountain ranges.
