I have finally arrived at the final destination of our 2019, Costa Rica trip. Since January, I've been posting seven photos a pop and climbing the Spanish numerical chart. This year, we flew into Liberia and ended our journey in Playa Flamingo - named for its pink sand beach. It was almost like coming full circle, since we stayed with the author of the Happier than a Billionaire books at - where else - the Happier House! (they rent part of their home to happy tourists)
The books are centered around living pura-vida in Costa Rica. Needless to say, it was fun listening to tales of naughty tourists and insider information about the country we've grown to love. It was our sixth trip to Costa Rica, and hopefully not our last. Follow our tickled-pink steps...
Shedding skin.
Local graffiti.
Stay tuned for the rest of our trip!

As usual, I love all your photos. That last one has driftwood that looks almost alive. :-)
Lovely collection of photographs.
All the best Jan
Wow - your trip was phenomenal!
Gorgeous photos! Wow! Love all! The "local graffiti" made me LOL! :-D
These are fantastic images. The graffiti on the cactus is a first for me :)

Well, I can’t wait for the rest of the posts.
Your lizzard and bird photos are one of a kind!
I've heard a lot of good things about Costa Rica. Lucky you to be able to tour it and enjoy both its natural and man-made treasures!
Wow, I love the last photo overlooking Playa Flamingo. I can totally see why people are enchanted with Costa Rica. So much natural beauty. Enjoy your weekend!
The very first photo is beyond artistic! I thought the silhouette was of cockatoos on a tree then I thought they were corn until I really wasn't sure what they were before reading further! Love it!
Wow - gorgeous!
