Well, I bought the cupcakes. Gracie's cupcakes. They are my Florida favorite: filled with key lime or raspberry puree and topped with cream cheese frosting. Of course, there's the tiramisu cupcake, Boston Cream Pie and triple chocolate ones too. I love them all. But why am I talking about cupcakes? Because I'm bringing 12 mini cupcakes to the Thanksgiving potluck this week. I know it is not very traditional, but I always try to bring something that I would love to eat! I hope somebody brings the turkey. Not me.
My favorite Thanksgiving treat is stuffing and a good gravy. What's yours? The holidays are so different in Florida. Sure, you still see a few Christmas commercials, but, it sure doesn't feel like Christmas. Not with bare feet.

Love the pictures, as always. I also love the taste of stuffing and gravy, but gosh it's been a iong time since I had that part of a traditional turkey day. These days we eat salmon with isn't stuffed. :-)

I love turkey, especially a wing with crispy skin. We are going to a friend's house for dinner and she doesn't make turkey. I am so going to miss my turkey wing. - Margy

All great photos but the one of the small shorebirds all lined up is my favorite!

Every day, more beauty...how wonderful! But I love all the birds (are they sandpipers?) lined up as if they're in school, or perhaps in the airforce.

Love all your images but the small flock of Sandpipers on the beach are my favorite. We don't have Thanksgiving here in South Africa but celebrate Christmas in December. Much the same: stuffed turkey all the trimmings. My favorite is trifle and Christmas fruit pudding.
