Don't worry. You don't have to play a movie...
I thought this was the perfect post to follow my Pawshanks Prison illustration...
Our cat Hana has this cute habit of leaving what we call sock kittens by the door when we leave the house. I think it is like a welcome home gift. Or something. We'd never actually caught Hana doing it before this. But we knew it was her because she loves to drag soft blankets around as well. So a few days before we took our trail cam to the woods this summer we did some under cover cat surveillance. Mission accomplished.
We left the house and...
Hana enters the frame with a sock at 11:43 am.
She sets it down...
She adjusts it....
But something wasn't quite right so off she goes.
But she immediately brings it right back and drops it. I think the camera surprised her. Ha! This photo is hilarious.
Hmmm. Is it right?
No. So at 11:47 we see an empty carpet and her bringing it back again!
The new placement.
She exits the frame.
Success! We find a sock kitten in front of the door when we come home. So cute. Thanks Hana. We know she misses us.

that's too cute!
AW! Hana is such a sweet, thoughtful kitty!
How cute is that! Hana is a real sweetie.. Wonderful series! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
Nice kitty! Reminds me of when one of my dogs used to empty my fridge when he thought I was gone too long. I wish I'd gotten that on critter cam! Good post for invisible too :)
that is just too adorable! She is one SMART kitty! Cody never does things like that. I love it!
SO sweet! She does miss you. Our cat Waddles used to leave her stuffed toys around. She would never let us see her carry them in her mouth though. They just "appeared."
Love all the clips and she certainly seems to miss you.
Awww. We used to have a cat that did that with socks :-)
Oh she sounds really cute.
very interesting to observe what happens with pets when their owners leave home ...thanks for following my birding blog Sharon.
What a sweet cat! Cute captures.

What a sweet kitty to leave you a present when you come home. My last dog, Willie, used to go pick a kleenex out of the bathroom trash and shred it in the dining room floor. I think it was to express how displeased he was to be left home alone. Pets are so cute!
Our cats carry them around in the middle of the night meowing like they are in pain.
Oh, how i enjoy this one . . .
a special gift for you . .
That's absolutely hilarious. Gotta love felines. And your Pawshanks Prison drawing is too cute.
Awwww...that is so sweet. That one "caught in the act" picture is a hoot! :-) I was away for thirteen days on vacation, but am back again now. Have a TON of pictures to post! :-)

this is fabulous, too cute, we've four beings who cart their toys onto the bed during night, sometimes one other times all of them, it would be fun to see them in action. She is too sweet..
She is so darn cute! Love all the pics and her face when she discovers the camera is priceless.
You might have already seen this post of mine, but if not, here is a link to a post about one of our cats. He carries everything but the furniture around.
