I love this photo because the Jay blends completely with the dry brown leaves. It is a perfect match. Unless you don't like matchy, matchy.
I photographed Mr. Brown in Belize this winter. For more bird watching visit Paying Ready Attention

So different from both the European and N.American jays. Love the shot.
A lovely photo. He's bigger than the Jays I'm used to.
Mr.Brown is a beauty!
He is much more subdued than our jay. I'm guessing he wasn't easy to spot since he blends in so well.
Lovely capture!
What a beautiful Jay and photograph.
Great photo and yes a nice match of the bird with the leaves.
I saw this bird in CostaRica 2 years ago. I think they were very elegant. :)
Good job spotting that baby!
Never saw this bird before. Very nice capture and I love the match!
It almost looks like a sepia print. Lovely! :-)
Great bird for WBW! I heard Belize is a beautiful place for birding. Pretty shot!
I love him. And there's nothing wrong with matchy-matchy once in awhile!
Great shot - it does seem to be a great colour match.
Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW.

I have neither heard of or seen one of these guys. Nice photo Sharon!
I like matchy matchy - fantastic photo!
I have never heard of a brown jay. He is camouflaged perfectly among the dried leaves. :)
I think that looks totally cool!
