I didn't establish much of a crush on Clearwater, Florida. But I did receive two icy blue, (free) Clearwater crush cups. A major score. Ha!
Orlando, (shown above) however, I love. Next year, we're staying in Miami instead of Orlando. So, no exhausting theme park days. And no sunrise views like this.
I will miss the misty, surreal mornings I enjoyed at our rental.
I'll miss the restaurants and hubbub of Disney Springs too.
I finally captured a decent mockingbird photo. I love to hear their Florida playlist.
For an exorbitant fee, you can take this sweet ride into the waters surrounding Disney Springs. I settled for a photo.
An unhinged jaw, diabolically laughing at all the money flying out of your pockets. Or something like that.
After Orlando, we meandered over to Clearwater. It was so cold! Even so, it didn't prevent throngs, wearing thongs, from clogging the sand. Not my scene - even this turtle looked like she was shivering.
Oranges = Clearwater crush.
Club Wyndam even has a bowl of oranges in the lobby. I usually don't post photos of our accommodations, but this was free. Happy dance! (My husband's hobby is collecting points and miles) Two free nights and all the oranges we could eat.
A groovy wicker chair.
A room with a view.
I do have a crush on sunsets.

I like the chair in the picture. It has an unusual design and it's woven from natural materials. This kind of furniture, made of bamboo, straw, ratan and the like, is easy to move and maintain. Very suitable to young peole with not much money, and older people who're physically limited.
Love that, Mockingbird Playlist...
Wow - stunning sky shots.
What a beautiful place to stay! And free at that. I love the misty pictures. I went to Busch Gardens when I visited my sister in February, a first for me. I even rode a scary roller coaster! :-)
You make the most of every place you go.... stunning skies. I remember enjoying our stay at Clearwater on one of our Florida explorations, but I can’t remember why... must go back and read my own blog to see what we did there )).....Orlando not so much our scene. Nice use of your husband’s point collection! We are using ours for a free flight and stay next month , but it is to Minnesota (is something wrong with us?)... it’s actually for a family reunion, so a good reason.
I love the chair@!!!!!
Worth a Thousand Words
Great sunset shots and ones of the morning mists. The break must have been that much sweeter knowing the accommodation was free.
Really nice photos Sharon! I love your running narrative also. You are so darn funny...
What a lovvely place and great accommodation. Love the sunset and misty images
Love the Mockingbird. First time I have seen one. A handsome fellow.
I have never seen a mockingbird. We don't have them in the UK

What a wonderful post. I barely know where to start. I love the contrast between colour photos and black and white. And "groovy wicker chair" made me laugh...slang from my youth!
Thanks for sharing.

Lovely! I love sunsets, too!
Nice nature shots. I could never see the 'fun' in being around so many people and standing in long lines!
Great photos! And like betty-NZ said, I can do without the crowds and the lines.... so I'm glad you did it for me!!!

Beautiful first shot! Nice pic of the mockingbird. I have them in my driveway all the time. Big red ants have hills there. Makes for nice photo ops. Enjoy your day!
I've never heard a mocking bird...
Love your tropical photos! I've not been to Clearwater but I've enjoyed my visits to Orlando.
Free is great!! Love that little amphibious car (like you, I would be happy with just a photo). I also like the shot of the golden sunrise, with the sun framed by the trees below and power lines above. Have a great weekend!
Fantastic to see all those gorgeous things Sharon! Awesome shots :D)
I've just been over looking through your illustrations and, wow, your creativity is boundless. Great work!
