Granada, Nicaragua is a little rough around the edges. But that makes for a grand photo safari. Let's peel our way around the inner city streets and take a tour. Beauty is only skin deep after all.
I can almost feel the rough and tumble memories.
Have a meaningful Memorial Day!

As usual, your pictures evoke a wonderful feeling within me. I love that old coke bottle sign. :-)

You make urban decay look so pretty!
Love the decay photos!
Great series of photos! I love places that are "rough around the edges" like this. So much more interesting and photogenic!!
sad that that gorgeous architecture is decaying. the first one is so romantic and beautiful.
Some of it looks like art, like the last two. And the flowers liven up the first one. Vintage!
Taken individually, it's beautiful. Beautiful but also sad.
Worth a Thousand Words
I like your last sentence "Have a meaningful Memorial Day". People usually say "Happy Memorial Day"; 'happy' doesn't go well with 'memorials'. There's sadness in the air.
As for your pictures from Granada, Nicaragua - the commenter Lady Fi's words are exactly what I feel : "You make urban decay look so pretty!"
Pretty! I wonder if the locals see the beauty or the decay?
beautiful compositions, and the colours blended well.
You have captured these beautifully. Sometimes a little bit of grittiness is essential to feel like you are visiting a real place where people live and work. Too much perfection can leave you longing for a dose of reality. #TPThursday
What beautiful pictures! It's amazing how something that is essentially in really bad shape can look so beautiful if it's well-photographed. Love it!
I like rough and tumble -- and texture -- lovely photos. And the long archway one -- looking through those always fascinates me --
It looks like such a colourful place - I know I would love it.
LOVE these photos! So much to look at.
You really have a knack for capturing the feel of the places you visit. This one is a great example of that. Thanks so much Sharon!
Love these photos :) If I was a writer I would write stories about them :)
