As usual, wonderful pictures. I love the bird conflab on the line. :-)
I'm always fascinated by birds sitting on power lines. However, I'm aware of the fact that their sitting might cause damage to those lines and to our electricity in the house.
Judging by the picture, Your Dad is a nice person who likes pets and probably human beings as well.

And at our advanced age, I certainly understand about being grateful for every day when our head (and fingers) work halfway correctly ... I hope you will keep us posted on the progress of your book here on this blog. I'm an avid reader but I learned early in my blogging that I didn't have time to read BOTH all the books and all the blogs that I wanted to read. (And though I tried, I found I couldn't blog about books I had read worth a bean)... So I have pretty much dropped book blogging and bookblog reading.
Such a wonderful variety of sights (and sounds, I'm sure!). Great memories, no doubt.

A lovely collection, my favourites being Lake Harriet - the colours reflected - beautiful and the Mississippi River. I've read about this river but not seen many photos of it. It truly is impressive.
