I figured this was a good post to follow yesterday's Kitty Mug Shot illustration!
Hopefully viewing another sock kitten post won't leave you catatonic. I figured that some of you might have missed my last post. And we had extra footage. So here goes.
What are sock kittens you ask? They are the gifts that my cat Hana leaves for us when we leave the house. If one of us is still present then no socks. But she will cry pitifully for the departed loved one.
We set up a cat cam and captured the whole process on film. Those familiar legs above are us leaving the house at exactly 7:11 pm...
And at exactly 7:12 pm Hana is already leaving us a sock! She doesn't waste any time. This is so cute.
Hmmmm....
Something is apparently off. It needs adjusting.
It might be O.K. now.
Maybe just a little more fluffing.
Deep thoughts...
Hana is thinking, "Stay there sock. Don't move"

At 7:46 it is still there. But where is Mom and Dad?
We always know she misses us when we find the sock kitten by the front door. Priceless.

Yes.....we have a kitty who likes to do this as well. In fact, she's helping me type right now:) If we don't put our laundry away, we find all of our clean socks on the floor in the morning! I don't know if that's cute or annoying but it always makes me laugh.
Just when you think that cats can't possibly be cuter and crazier, another one comes along to prove you wrong. Too adorable. Time to start adding catnip to your sock collection. ;)
Thats a nice post! I'm sure some creature of the night does similar things with my desk - I never make the kind of mess I find it in most days!!

That is just too cute...I wonder why she does this!
That really is absolutely adorable....what a cute thing to do when you leave her alone! They are so smart - they figure out ways to give us "messages" no matter what. Sam brings a little round rubber ring to the spot where he normally gets treats if the "treat dispenser" (aka my husband) hasn't left some for him every night. The next morning there's the rubber ring on the little rug where treats SHOULD (!!) be left. We call the ring "THE CIRCLE OF DOOM". Heaven forbid my husband forgets his duty!
What a boring world it would be without cats......
