Bird Logic

Sometimes these are the only letters that apply.  My illustrator friend Anne Adix Fabie has had a streak of bad luck thanks to Mother Nature.  Her latest gift from MN (not Minnesota) was the destruction of her backyard and garage. And she was just about to park in it!  Our earth here in MN (Minnesota this time) is saturated and the trees just can't take it any more. We had some pretty bad winds and rain Friday night. And I should know I was out in it dodging falling trees and road rivers like a storm chaser.  But at this point it might only take a puff of air to blow a tree over. So because Mother Nature is giving my friend the bird, I'm giving her a bird with a message.  Take that Mother Nature!

And of course I'm hooking up with Wild Bird Wednesday

That bird sure does look cranky! I hope your weather improves soon.

I can understand how that bird feels. I wish I could send you some drier weather, but it has been pretty wet around here, too--more than usual for this time of year.

I wish we had some of that rain out here. We are probably done with it for many months.

Angry bird! lol. Great photo. And yep, WTF is perfect. That's what i always think with the driving rains we get here in Oregon in January.. and February... and March... Yes, you'd think i'd be used to it by now. Anyway, i hope your weather improves/dries up soon!

lovely egret - they can probably cope with all the wet, but not the winds with it; hope all's good on the weather front soon

Those three letters spring to mind pretty much every time I read the paper!

I only hope the oil on your face does not come from the same place as the oil birds put on their feathers!!

Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

Both of you have reason to be cranky. So does the gull apparently!
