The road to Irazu, volcano.
Orosi: a town at rest, shouldered by mountains, underfoot a volcano. I experienced my first earthquake here, a what-the-heck-was-that moment. The scenery resembles a furry wool coat, a surreal garden, misty and blue. You won't find many tourists, especially in January, because it's cold!
Even so, pack your sweatpants, since it is worth a wander. Follow my feet...
Irazu crater.
A surreal cloud forest. I love this photo.

The elevation must be high there for a place so lush green to feel cold! I've felt earthquakes 4 times in my life. One big one in New York and one minor one. The other two were on a trip to San Francisco.
Los paisajes son preciosos y además algunos de ellos están bien acompañados de unos buenos animales.
Lovely images! Yeah, earthquakes are usually not long enough to register any feeling. The couple of instances when I experienced, I had to ask others whether it really was an earthquake.
Lovely shots! My first earthquake, we'd been drinking and thought we were suddenly really drunk! Ha! #Traveltuesday
Oh wow, what a gorgeous place. I'm about to add it to my bucket list.
Is the fence in the first photo really painted blue, or is it just my monitor? I like it, because it matches the sky beautifully!
Greetings and Salutations! I like how you captured the eye of the horse and the fowl. I like the how tall and slender that plant is in the second image. The 10th photograph reminds me of the blue ridge mountains in the good ole U.S.A. What a view that A Frame house with strange roofing has! Wowza! Costa Rica is definitely a cool place to visit.
I love the cloud forest photo, the background is remarkable!

Absolutely beautiful, although I don't know if I would want a volcano underfoot for very long.
What a lovely place. Yes, that last photo is magical! It doesn't look too cold -- somebody is wearing shorts. And I might trade that kind of cold for "not too many tourists." Very nice.
