"My life is like a stroll upon the beach, as near to the ocean's edge as I can go." Henry David Thoreau
Dominicalito beach is Costa Rica's best kept secret, a local beach, decorated with swaying palms, mossy rocks, and sand that is the perfect mix of squishy-soft and firm for busy bare feet. Vultures out number people, and rustic fishing boats sit moored to the sand, waiting, for dusk or dawn, and well-worn hands to paddle out for work.

Such a nice, quiet, and secluded-looking beach. The vultures are so large!
My kind of place to walk! And trust you to find the perfect local beach! (Actually, you have probably spent enough time in this beautiful country to qualify as at least part-time locals. )I enjoyed this.
beautiful skies
How beautiful.
Gorgeous sky and vulture shots. The place is amazing.
Wow! As usual I am enchanted by your pictures. :-)
Lovely - so peaceful!
Hi Sharon: Costa Rica is a magical place to visit and I am sure that once you get away from the tourist areas there are more such tranquil spots to be found. Better keep it a secret lest it gets overwhelmed!
What a perfect beach. Unspoiled and beautiful. I hope it never changes.
Great photos! Beautiful beach scenes!
