I updated my Best of... over at My 3rd Eye. But you don't have to pop over, (unless you want to check out my favorites from countless other trips) because they're right here. My Best of started with a compilation for a framed series that hangs in my living room. I live in a very small house, and we travel big. So only our Central America travels get the coveted wall treatment. The yearly top 8 or 9 also have a short life span. (my walls don't grow any bigger, but my life keeps on trucking)

I love all the beautiful photos, but I spent some time smiling at the bunny ears. :-)
When we had our airplane and lived in California we enjoyed flying to Sedona. It was close enough for a day trip, but we also enjoyed staying at a local resort. The airport was on top of a mesa, making it like landing on an aircraft carrier. We could only visit from late fall to early spring due to the heat. Our airplane needed the cool air to make it back up into the air safely. - Margy
A visit there years ago left me awestruck by a world entirely different than my green world. Also, enjoyed a peek at your art. What fun and talent!

What a beautiful day you had! I've not ever been to that part of Arizona. It doesn't look like it's overbearing hot there. I understand from my reading that Sedona is a place to gather one's soul.

Years ago I met my daughter in Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. A local said Sedona was magical so I visited there before leaving for home. It was!

I'll never get over the view of the fascinating red rocks and sands. We've got them here too, in the south of the country, but not to the extent and beauty of those in Sedona of your pictures.
A cemetery, no matter how neat and organized, it's always spooky to me.
However, it's the final residence of my parents, brother, and nephew - so I usually feel "at home" when I visit their graves.
The rocks and mountains there are so different that my home of NC. Lush and green with plenty of wildlife but the appeal of the open range and red rock call to the adventurer in me. Thanks for sharing.

I love Sedona, we used to go when I was a kid and camp along the river. It's been years since I've been but the Red Rocks are gorgeous.
