Florida's Final Five

My Florida mash up!

A new friend. The darn squirrel was so tame he climbed onto my lap! That's me in the corner - in blue. He went nuts!

Beach days.

Sky Perks. A Thanksgiving feast on high. I love this photo.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

The horrors of coming home: slushie roads and snow, static shocks and dry air, cold temperatures and wind chill, naked trees and dreary skies, loads of laundry and a dirty house.

The view sucks.

The highlights: a Christmas tree loaded with lights and memories, a loving husband and two toasty lap cats, Cafe Latte German chocolate cake and fancy spices in the pantry.

Future travel to plan! Heck, there's always next Flo-vember to think about.

The skies don't disappoint. The moon, the sunset - are at their best in your pictures.
I can relate to your description of coming home : road, nature, house - are not cooperative. But, as you say, there's always next November to think about.

Back to cold weather reality. Is that a catfish? Still post some of the lovely warm weather ones so I can pretend I'm where it's warm. We're having snow again today, but only a dusting. Don't mind that...I don't like when the cold sets in and stays for weeks.

Sharon - the end of vacation can be a bummer, especially the dirty laundry part. But at least you could re-live the beach days through these stunning photographs - the bird on the roof with the fish is a million dollar photo! I also like the many-armed starfish - is it supposed to look like that?

So funny about the squirrel jumping on your lap!! Beautiful photos. Is that one of those "walking" catfish?

Hard to add anything more to the comments...that last wow, wow, wow image is eye-popping...kudos.. While squirrels look cute, they are nothing more than rodents with bushy tails and good P.R.

I got the slushy situation without the memories of those beautiful skies and friendly critters. Wonderful pics.
