Canyonlands National Park, Utah.
Wow! What a beautiful place.
We hiked the red-rock ridge under a ripe, sultry sun, on a special, spectacular morning back in June. In Utah, we hiked shortly after the sun blinked over the horizon. As a result, we didn't sizzle like bacon strips on the hot sand. Plus, there were only a sprinkling of tourists.
On this day - due to the sun's fierce interference and our lateness- I finally got saturated photos...
Canyonlands.
Camera ready.

Everytime I see pictures of Utah it makes me want to visit there. So beautiful. Looks so fun to explore.
Such beautiful views! I hope to visit Canyonland someday
Beautiful pictures of Canyonlands! The summer we went there (too long ago now) we pulled a jeep behind our pickup/camper ... had the best time exploring the NP and surrounding area (not off-roading, it was just fun driving our old open-air jeep after we left the pickup in our campground. Felt like you really could see those canyons and beautiful rock formations even while driving to where we were going to hike.). I've read that it is one of the most under-utilized National Parks ... definitely not real easy to get to. But so worth it. Thanks for the beauty and the memories -- and for hosting.
Just wonderful. Your pictures are always stunning, and these are too, of course. Love that one of you. :-)
Great landscape shot . Please tell something about my capture on my blog.
Oh my goodness! So stunning!
Beautiful beyond words.
Worth a Thousand Words
Sharon - love the last shot. There is something about those reds and greens that just delight the eye! And it goes on FOREVER! I have family in Utah now, so I hope to get to this place one day! Thanks for hosting the blog hop!
Utah is so beautiful - as are your photos!
What awesome photos. Like the one where you can see through the rock or at least looks like a see through. Had to keep looking to see all that you captured. :)
Thanks for sharing at Pictorial Tuesday.
Beautiful arch photos, incredible views, and I've never seen such a gorgeous lichen. It looks like a sunflower!!
Nature is always so breathtaking ~ and your photos of Utah are divine! Love that area!

Beautiful photography!
Impressive! Both the landscape and how you captured it in your photos. It's always fun to see through your eyes without having to do all that hiking in the sun.
