Reserva Natural Atitlan

A spider monkey watched us from the trees, at Reserva Natural Atitlan.

This one was enjoying a moment of reflection!

This one isn't a monkey at all. It's a Coati.

This one was sleeping. So sweet. I love this photo.

The trail was connected by hanging bridges and passed a nice little waterfall. But the bridges weren't quite as adventurous (or breath taking) as the ones at ixpanpajul! (Be sure to check them out if you missed them)

The best thing about the Reserva, was the butterfly dome. Hands down. See for yourself...

Visiting Lake Atitlan in Guatemala is all about the volcano views. But this place is worth a stop.

Have a meaningful Memorial Day.

Gorgeous butterflies and forest scenery -- definitely would be worth a visit .... and those bridges (OK maybe not the most adventurous you've ever been on, but looks like more than enough adventure for most of us!)

Those butterflies! They are wonderful, but that sleeping monkey is best of all. :-)

Really like your photos! Spotting wildlife in the forest, jungle or rivers is one of my favorite things to do. Central American countries are excellent for that.

Spectacular bridges...the kind I've always avoided!
Beautiful photos...I love the sleeping monkey. Who could ever resist a sleeping monkey?

So adventurous...I could never do that bridge but it all looks like an amazing trek. Adore the spider monkey sleeping. Thanks for sharing at Pictorial Tuesday.
