Spring Forward. Fall Back.

I thought it was timely to finally post my bluebird photo that I snapped at Cedar Lake this Spring.  This photo was taken the night before the first official day of Summer. I couldn't wait for the transition. Now we are only a few days away from Fall.  It sure went fast.

They have quite a few blue bird houses at Cedar.  So I was hoping to spot one.  If it wasn't for his blue back he would totally blend into the tree.

We stuck around for a Summer's Eve sunset.

Time sure flies when you're having fun.

Wowee! I enjoyed seeing that sunset shot, for sure. And nice bluebird, too. Yes, summer is over for 2014, and a really great one it was, too. :-)

I enjoy seeing the bluebird, I haven't seen any here. So cute. The sunset is so golden, the water reflections and tree silhouettes are pretty.

It sure did pass quickly, this year. Zoom!

Two lovely photos. I'm also kind of in retro mode. I have far more summer photos to post so it will probably be winter before I'm catching up with autumn. ;)

Summer always goes too fast ... No matter how old you are it seems over as soon as the school year starts.

Your bluebird is adorable! A reminder that spring will come again.

Skagway had no local shops, Haines (in my previous post) had ALL local ... No chain stores or restaurants. We liked it best because of that .. Seemed more real. They are across the water from each other.)

The bluebird is lovely. How nice that it was photographed at the beginning of spring, and now it is the beginning of fall. Spring and summer do get away from us. It will be a short time indeed as well and we'll all be telling each other Merry Christmas! :-) Love the sunset! Gorgeous photo!
