There's a new addition to the hood.
Beaks up!
Feed Me! AAARRGGGHH!! MOTHER!!! STELLA!!!!!! They are such hideous little monsters.
Mission completed. And a temporary beaky smile erupts. Thanks Mom.
Meanwhile...
Only around 5 days later they look more like birds and less like miniature prehistoric beak monsters. There was a thinning of the herd since there were 4 bright blue eggs in the nest originally. They'll probably be flying around free as a bird next time we walk by!

Great photos, it's nice to see birds growing up; they make a real transformation.
Such sweet photos.
Wonderful captures and narrative!
Kinda need to copy comments from others - because your photos are so great - and your story line speaks to the heart. Thank you for taking time to share with us.
Hi Sharon I love these close ups shots you have taken of the nest and young ones. Cute
Beautiful clicks... and i love that 'beaky smile ' :))
They're so cute and they grow so fast.
Cute! And great shots.
Oh my, the baby robins are just so cute. Love the photos, great series! Have a happy week!
What great shots! It's great to watch them grow.
How exciting! Love your "take" on the little monsters! :-) Great photos!
Great set of pictures - young birds do look more than a little like space aliens!

Nice series! We only get Robins during migration so it's neat to see the nest and chicks.
So funny how robins often build their nests where any photographer can just peek in. Aty least this mother built hers where a good photographer lived ...those are great baby pictures!
