Swim With The Sharks

"Don't make me angry.  You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." The sharks are angry because they have been forced to eat blackened fish.  Blackened by an oil spill that is.

I did this piece after the gulf oil spill.  Thank goodness sharks are swimming in relatively clean waters these days.  If a person can be happy that sharks are swimming at all.  Da dum.

Swim is the theme of the week over at www.illustrationfriday.com

A wonderful and effective way to illustrate such a terrible environmental tragedy. Your illustrations are so creative and detailed. I'm glad the sharks are still swimming!

I wish there were more people with the environmental mindset, Sharon. I love your cool illustration, and yes I am glad that they are still swimming and in relatively clean waters, one hopes. :-)

Great editorial piece for such a major environmental catastrophe. And perfect for this week's IF prompt!

The sharks are hilarious! Wonderful character faces and postures. I'm fine with them if they leave me alone! But ugh, don't remind me of the oil spill. So depressing. : /
