I photographed (not scanned, that's why it's crude) one of my early architectural pieces for today's www.illustrationfriday.com City theme. I think I painted this after yet another Zombie attack on the streets of somewhere. Zombie attacks are of course all too common these days. I hope they never hurt any kittens or puppies on their thoughtless and whining Zombie rampages. But let's get back to my painting. It seems deserted, quiet and downright devoid of life. Like the empty streets after an aforementioned attack. But it is an eager study of Terra cotta tiles. A personal favorite to paint when I work on fine art pieces. Something I haven't done enough of lately. I love to paint old texture, mysterious stairways and archways.

B/W
Black and White. The preferred method of viewing post Zombie zones. At least in old movies. :)

I'm loving the texture of those terra cotta tiles especially in the B/W version.
Pesky zombies, they really are a pain when trying to mow the lawn or take the dog for a walk. I understand however they are terrified of cats.
Finally a post that is not about FOOD but instead about zombies. I'm certain, Sharon, that you are testing me... :-)
So intricate and detailed! It's really nice, the zombies must all be napping...it looks like siesta time
Sharon hi! I have missed you! Could you please put the "follow by email" option on your blog? I no longer use my blog roll because it isn't "time friendly" lol....I want to start following you again but I only follow those blogs that I can follow via email.
Please let me know if you put it on.
Thank you!!!!!
