What about Bob?

It's Bob! Right there in my woods. Well, actually the woods next door. This trail cam capture of a bobcat was sent to us by our neighbors. He has kind of a long tail for a bobcat. But I guess he is well endowed. Or he is a lynx. But either way...cool!

And of course I couldn't talk about Bob without mentioning Hana and Akua. They were all monkey see monkey do the other day. Hana discovered this new hiding place. I usually have a stack of books there.

And as soon as Hana left, Akua had to check it out as well. But as the saying goes he is always a day late and a dollar short.

And there's something about more cats at http://www.gattinamycats.blogspot.com/

Whatever that creature is it's great to see. What is it about kitties and strange places to hide in?

I hope bobcats or mountain lions don't advance to our area, there's been a few possible sightings. The coyotes are defintely near by! I prefer kittens and cats like Hana and Akua in my woods!

How totally cool! Being able to see the animals you wouldn't otherwise see, and of course those feisty kitties!

I am not a big fan of bobcats. They are scary and I am glad your kitty is safe inside!

Isn't it amazing the places they squeeze themselves into?

I fell in love with the photo of a young Bob cat sat on a rock, I would visit the library just to go look at it again, until someone else cut the photo plate out of the book!
Cats and cubby holes, they just love them, or dark cupboards, our Jet got himself accidentally shut in to the understairs cupboard all night once when his curiosity got the better of him.

Although we don't see them often, we also have bobcats in the area.
We have 4 cats and you are right, they are such "copycats."

Wow! Love those webcams...we need to get one on our wooded acreage in the U.P. to see what comes through at night as we see lots of tracks. Very cool!
