I weathered the storm. My abdominal surgery was a success! I've emerged from the ether, situated myself upright at the computer, typed a few sentences. Hooray! The worst is over.
Plus, there's a 95% chance that I'm cancer free! My future travel itinerary seems secure. Even so, I'm taking another week off. I'll be back making tracks by next Monday, hosting my marginally successful blog party, posting more photos of the southwest and looking forward to taking you with me to the beach!
Virtually anyway.

I was away last week, celebrating our anniversary, so I did not know you had surgery! I'm glad all went well--no cancer is a blessing!! I hope you heal quickly and fully, Sharon. My daughter is also facing serious surgery in a month or so. We are fortunate to have skilled doctors and surgeons!
