Florida. Day by Day...

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Day 5

Day 6

I've never posted real time vacation photos before. Normally, I don't want to announce to potential blog burglars that I'm not at home. (Plus, it's nice to take a blogging break) But, someone is at home. My husband and two cats are still enjoying gloomy Minnesota skies and damp, cold weather. Me? Not so much. Now, I'm only living in Minnesota for 11 months a year - one month would be enough for me.

Last year, I was busy illustrating a children's book. Well, that's done. You can check out the illustrations here!  This year, I decided to keep blogging and post a photo highlight for each sun soaked day. Then post them through the month of November...

Just lovely, Sharon! I like that first picture so much. I hope you're enjoying the weather and that they are being well taken care of without you there. :-)

I love your illustrations! I know people who live in areas with a lot of gray sky get tired of it just like we get tired of day after day of hot sunny days.

Great photos, and nice to see in real time! Did you use a fisheye on some of them? I like the wavy horizons. Also, love your illustrations. What a talent you have!! I've preordered a copy of 'Mrs. Jones's Tea Party'. I'm hoping it's something my 5 year old granddaughter will enjoy.

Found your lovely blog and have been meaning to comment. Love your images, especially of the water - bird on a buoy and seashell. I reread your profile. Why do I think you're from Macon, Georgia?

I usually don't post real time, mostly because I'm such a procrastinator. We too like to avoid the winter in TN and usually get away to Florida for a month sometime in late December.
