The Glades

This peaceful walk interrupted my on-going Panama posts. It weaved its way in. We always stop at this path south of Naples, Florida to bird watch. It's right before you turn off for Fackahatchee Swamp. And you'll see a lot more birds and serene Florida beauty. Especially if you are an early bird. Literally. And if the morning is misty, there's photo magic....

I just love these sparkling webs! Nature's diamonds fluttering against the patchwork swamp.

There's a platform for great viewing. And we're almost always by ourselves. A bonus.

Even the spiders weren't at home!

Did you know that reading can lengthen your life?

Literally.  Over at the The Chorus of the Crows

I'm adding this to our 'must go next season' list, although I probably won't get there as early in the morning as I should. Thanks for the beautiful reminders.

Oh, those webs of diamond drops...exquisite. I wish I were an early bird, so that I could capture things that are gone later in the day.
Beautiful photos!

You photos are so pretty. Swamps are some of the things we do not have here in Los Angeles. Great variety of birds and wildlife. Love the cobweb photos.

Florida is not my favorite state, (too hot, too muggy) but it really can be quite stunning. Your spider web captures are beautiful. They look like a string of pearls. You captured the beauty of the landscape really well in your photos.
