  1. 1.
playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way.
    "a whimsical sense of humor"

The word whimsical could describe almost all of my illustration work. I recently started concentrating on more fine art pieces. I can't wait to share those.  But for now, well, the majority of my vast computer files is whimsical. As you can see I googled the definition. It is a word I use all the time, so I was curious about the qualifiers.

I think my Luau Pigs fit the bill. A recipe illustration I did a few sunsets ago. The poor rhythmic pigs have no idea what the true meaning of this hula dance reveals. Basically that ham sandwiches taste great!

The illustration is adorable! I am sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I honestly don't know how one goes about doing a "guest" post on someone's blog. You are going to have to fill me in. I just haven't gotten back into my regular schedule yet after my jewelry party and then Revival at church. I need to get back into gear. :-) I get tired really easily because I have chronic fatigue syndrome, but I try not to let it get the best of me. But I have to admit I haven't written a word in over two weeks! :(

I use that word all the time too ... Just did on my blog even. But only about other people's wonderful creations and thoughts. I appreciate art ... And whimsy ... But I can't create it )). I love the dancing pigs ....I hope their luau feast contains some tofu sushi instead of the Ham sandwiches
