The President didn't pardon these two turkeys. But he did decide to hide them in a top secret location at Fort Snelling. As the official White House turkey photographer I was granted clearance to take these photos. It's a fairly new position. And I'm usually assigned in the midwest because of the large turkey population here. But like every American I do dare to dream. I've been told by a big wig mucky muck in Washington that if I do a really good job with the turkeys, I might be assigned to bald eagles. So by next Thanksgiving some other clown might be taking turkey photos. Keep your fingers crossed. My fingers are crossed right now. But I'm telling the truth...Honest!

Huh? Turkey duty and you're telling the truth? I don't believe it! But if I were you I'd stick with the turkeys rather than the bald eagles. Or should I really be crossing my fingers that you get that duty? I'm so confused!
A possible assignment as a bald eagle photographer, you are on the fast track. Cool pics and news story.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

WOW!..UMM..I don't believe it!Nice pics though.
I'm totally joking guys. But it wouldn't surprise me if there actually is an official turkey photographer. You may have forced me to put the dreaded LOL in my post!
I think I won't be in case they hire me. I am scared of turkeys and I was chased once by lots of them in my Grandfathers farm. But those are nice turkeys yum yum.

Kinda figured out you were joking immediately but it's always more fun to play along.
Hope you are having a great weekend,
Judy
Stick with the turkeys, easier to photograph ;-) and don't them them I just ate one of their relatives!
